Cohoes, NY - Mohawk Paper Mills announces new Satin 2.0. This brighter, smoother version of popular Mohawk Satin is engineered to perform as well on color copiers as it does on offset presses. The advantages of this versatile sheet are highlighted in Mohawk's latest swatchbook, which showcases Satin 2.0's updated palette: new 94 bright Radiant White, international Blue White, Warm White, and Cream White. All four whites feature a smoother surface and an extra-smooth digital finish designed for all the ways you print. "Printers have always preferred Satin, and now it's even better," says Craig Slemp, Mohawk vice president of marketing and business planning. "Satin 2.0 now has enhanced toner quality and adhesion for improved print results. A perfect cross-platform paper, Satin 2.0 offers consistent quality, versatility, and value." Satin 2.0 is inkjet-compatible, laser-guaranteed, and ideal for preprinting and laser imprinting applications. Above all, Satin 2.0 is a good value for everyday color copying. Stocked in 8.5 x 11, 17 x 11, and 18 x 12, Satin 2.0 meets all specifications for laser printers and color copiers. Available basis weights include 24 lb., 28 lb., 32 lb., 60 text, 70 text, 80 text, 65 cover, 80 cover, 90 cover, 100 cover, and 130 double-thick cover. Heidelberg Quickmaster DI sizes are stocked in 80 text, 80 cover, and 100 cover. Xeikon rolls, in both Blue White and Radiant White, are stocked in 80 text and 90 cover, the heaviest cover weight accepted by Xeikon-engine presses.
