Mohawk Introduces Xeikon Rolls In 90 lb. Navajo Cover |

Cohoes, NY - Mohawk Paper Mills has once again expanded its digital paper product line, introducing Xeikon rolls in Navajo 90 cover, the heaviest cover weight accepted by Xeikon-engine presses. Like the rest of the Navajo line, 90 cover is the brightest, smoothest sheet available and is rated 1A by New York's Rochester Institute of Technology. Its combination of outstanding toner adhesion, consistency, and runnability makes it ideal for projects such as self-mailers, folders, and covers. "In the digital environment, customers tend to look to us for suggestions on printability, and our recommendation is Navajo," says Paul Padratzik, Account Executive at Japs-Olson Company, a Minnesota commercial printer specializing in direct mail production. "The scripting is easy, our press operators like the way it runs, and we know we can count on it for quality results, time after time. "With 90 cover, we now can offer more options to end-users," Padratzik adds. "It's an excellent choice for posters, pocket folders, business cards, covers, and other pieces that require a heavier, quality sheet." He also cites Mohawk's reputation for exceptional service and the economies of choosing paper thatçs manufactured within the United States. "Our costs are going to come down," Padratzik says, "and we can pass those savings on to our customers." Navajo is Mohawk's most popular digital sheet. In addition to 90 cover, Xeikon rolls are available in 80 lb. and 100 lb. text, and 65 lb. and 80 lb. cover. Rolls are stocked in 12.5" and 19.7", and 40" rolls are available for large runs. "Our goal is to continue to provide our customers with the best products for all the ways you print," says Craig Slemp, Mohawk Vice President of Marketing and Business Planning. "Navajo offers the broadest range of digital and international sizes - one reason it's the preferred paper for leading digital printers worldwide."
