Mohawk News : Mohawk's New Digital Swatchbook Showcases Updated and Comprehensive Line of Digital Papers

NEW YORK, NY – With major additions to its product line, Mohawk Paper Mills continues to demonstrate why they’re considered the market leader in premium digital papers.

Featuring a fresh new look, an expanded and unmatched digital paper selection, and easy-to-use equipment recommendations, Mohawk’s newest digital swatchbook offers printers a valuable guide to the ideal digital experience.

The newly expanded Mohawk Digital Papers line consists of a selection of coated and uncoated papers: Mohawk Options, Navajo, Superfine, Satin 2.0 and 50/10 plus. Selections range in basis weight from 24 lb. to 100 lb. double thick cover, and include high-bright, cream and blue white choices. Additionally, Options and Navajo feature Mohawk’s exclusive patented Inxwell“ technology, which provides exceptional performance on toner-based digital presses and copiers.

Just one of the several new additions is Mohawk Satin 2.0, with its new digital finish. Brighter and smoother than ever, Satin 2.0 offers superior toner adhesion for brilliant print results. Available in four digital whites, Satin 2.0 is a perfect cross-platform paper, offering consistent quality, versatility, and value.

Additional highlights include:

New 50/10 plus gloss, responding to printer demand for coated papers for color copiers and Xeikon presses;

New 60 lb. and 90 lb. covers; and

Three new Inxwell whites, including 96 bright True White, bringing to five the number of shades available for digital presses in the Mohawk Options line.

Mohawk is now the largest manufacturer of paper for Xeikon presses in North America. New Xeikon roll offerings include Navajo, Satin 2.0, Options and 50/10 plus. The scripted products are available in bright white, cream white, and blue white, with basis weights ranging from 70 lb. text to 90 cover.

The new swatchbook also features convenient at-a-glance charts, enabling printers to easily identify and link specific digital presses with appropriate Mohawk Digital Papers. These charts are accompanied by a brief description of the printing process employed by each press, as well as their ideal use.
