Fiber & Forests

Mohawk papers meet or exceed the most rigorous environmental standards, including GreenSeal, which regulates postconsumer waste; FSC, which certifies sustainably harvested wood; and the Lacey Act, which regulates the importation of wood and wood products.

Carbon Neutral

Mohawk’s carbon neutral products have had their emissions calculated and reduced where possible. Remaining carbon dioxide emissions are then "offset" through third-party verified credits that fund renewable, emission–free energy projects such as the Greenville County Landfill Gas project, which turns methane to energy.
