Clean Air-Cool Planet (CA-CP) creates partnerships in the Northeastern US to implement solutions to climate change and build constituencies for effective climate policies and actions. CA-CP is the region's leading organization dedicated to finding and promoting solutions to global warming. Mohawk Fine Papers has joined the SmartWay Transport Partnership, an innovative collaboration between the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and industry to provide a framework that assesses the environmental and energy efficiency of a company’s freight transport systems. The goal of the Partnership is to help companies save fuel, money and the environment. Launched in 2004, the SmartWay brand was developed jointly by the EPA and charter partners represented by industry stakeholders, environmental groups, American Trucking Associations and Business for Social Responsibility.
