Happy Birthday–VDP is 75 Years Old!

Live from the Museum of Printing in North Andover Massachusetts, Frank returns to MakeReady! In part 1 of a new video series, Frank Romano discusses one of the first pieces of equipment used for “variable” printing. Awarded a patent in 1937, the LATZ printer was primarily used to imprint names on documents. In 2012 we’re wishing VDP a Happy 75th Birthday and challenging printers to go beyond just using a name in their variable projects.
